This seminar provides upper class Environmental Science students with structured guidance to design and prepare for their capstone experience of a faculty-mentored research project or approved internship.
Through weekly discussions, workshops, and individual mentoring, students will explore environmental research methods, identify potential project or internship opportunities, and develop professional skills. The course also emphasizes career planning, including resume development, networking, and post-graduate pathways. By the end of the seminar, students will have produced a capstone proposal and implementation plan.
