It is strongly suggested that history majors planning to pursue graduate study in history enroll in at least four semesters of foreign language. Which foreign language should be determined by the anticipated historical focus during graduate study. History majors will prepare a portfolio (a notebook) containing a resume and four term papers form 300- or 400-level courses; which will be submitted to their academic advisors for review during hte final semester of the senior year.
